Odioka privacy notice

Version 1.2, effective 13 October 2026.

This notice explains what the private Odioka pilot collects, why, who else handles it, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written for an invite-only pilot of a small number of adults.

Who is responsible

Odioka is operated by Meta Infinity Nigeria Limited ("we"), the data controller for this pilot.

Privacy and support contact: support@odioka.com. No response time is promised.

Support is not an emergency service, and conversations are not continuously monitored by a person.

What Odi is

Odi is an AI-guided wisdom and decision companion. It combines AI reasoning with a reviewed research library and a small number of reviewed family-wisdom principles. Research knowledge and family wisdom are kept separate: research comes from published sources, and family wisdom comes from the Odioka family's own testimony. Neither is treated as proof of anything supernatural.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email address, display name, role, account status, when you accepted the pilot documents, and your adult confirmations. Your passphrase is stored only as a one-way hash; we never see it.
  • Sign-in and security records: session records, single-use setup and reset links, and security events such as sign-ins, passphrase changes and sign-outs. We do not store your IP address.
  • Conversations: what you write to Odi and Odi's replies, including the summary of your situation that Odi keeps between turns.
  • Memory: outcomes you report, patterns and working threads that Odi derives from your own conversations.
  • Reflections and dreams: Sit With This questions and notes, dream reports, interpretations and follow-ups.
  • Usage records: for each AI request, the feature used, timing, size and outcome. These never include what you wrote.
  • Reports and requests: reports you make about an answer, and requests you make about your data. A report only includes a copy of the conversation if you tick the box to share it.

You may choose to share sensitive information, such as health, religious or spiritual beliefs, family matters, sexuality or relationships, grief or mental health. We only process it with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw (see "Your choices and rights").

Please avoid including full names, contact details or other identifying information about other people unless it is necessary to explain your situation.

Why we use it

  • To give you guidance, dream interpretations and reflection questions when you ask for them.
  • To remember your own conversations, outcomes, patterns, reflections and dreams so later guidance fits your situation.
  • To keep the service secure: sign-in, abuse prevention, usage limits and cost control.
  • To respond to your reports and requests and to improve the pilot's safety.

We rely on your consent to take part in the pilot and your explicit consent to process sensitive information. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or build marketing profiles. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of service providers, only to run Odioka for you:

  • AI service provider: when you ask Odi a question, record a dream or prepare a reflection, the relevant content is sent to an AI service provider to generate the response. We ask the provider not to store it for later use, and it is not used to train the provider's models. The provider may still keep it in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days.
  • Email delivery provider: sends invitations, passphrase resets and account notices. Emails contain your address and a link, never your conversations.
  • Hosting and backup providers: run the service and keep encrypted backups.

Some of these providers may process information outside Nigeria.

Cookies

Odioka uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly, only sent to Odioka, and expires after 7 days (or 24 hours without use). There are no analytics, advertising, session-replay or tracking cookies, and no third-party trackers, so no cookie banner is needed.

How long we keep it

  • Your conversations, memory, reflections and dreams are kept while your account is active, until you ask us to delete them.
  • Security, usage and request records are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the service, then deleted.
  • Encrypted backups expire within 30 days. Deleted information may remain in a backup until it expires, and it is never restored into active use.

Security

Passphrases and links are hashed, connections use HTTPS, access to the database is restricted, and every account can only see its own information. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to put your rights and freedoms at risk, we will tell you and the regulator where the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

  • Access and portability: ask for a copy of your information in a structured, machine-readable (JSON) file. Use "Request a copy of my data" on your Account page or email support.
  • Correction: change your display name on your Account page. If a pattern, working thread, outcome summary or answer is wrong, use "Report" on it; a person will review it and can retire or correct it.
  • Withdraw consent: you can withdraw consent to sensitive-information processing on your Account page at any time. Odi then stops accepting new questions, dreams and reflections from you. Withdrawal does not undo processing that already happened.
  • Restriction and objection: ask us to stop or limit processing through your Account page or support.
  • Deletion: use "Request data deletion" on your Account page or email support. We delete your account and its content from the live service. Minimal security records are kept without your conversation content.
  • Human support: Odi does not make binding legal, credit, employment or medical decisions. You can always ask for a person to review an answer.
  • Complaints: contact us first at support@odioka.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), https://ndpc.gov.ng, or to the data protection authority where you live.

Adults only

The pilot is for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. You may talk about a child's situation, but the account holder must be an adult.

Changes

If we materially change this notice, we will ask you to review and accept the new version before you continue using Odi.
